Boo At The Zoo Bowser Cosplay

O_o ... the file is supah doopah huge... but I won't make you see it unless you want to download it.

So. My absence, though my ability to draw and sculpt is futile, has not been in vein. I have been working on my costume, which has now been revealed as Bowser from Mario. And I have much to say about it.

Firstly, it was supposed to look way more scary and exact... however, the whole reason I made bowser was for the kids at Boo at the Zoo and my niece. My mom pointed out and kept pressuring me to make it more cute and less scary. So... with much grumbling and griping I did. I left off the spiking arm and neck bands and made his face more cute. Made his hands pretty big to give him a sorta, "ill be glad to give you hugs" look. and for the most part it did work. I made a few kids cry but overall I was pretty satisfied... that was right up until I met Mario....

ok. So there I was. Just minding my own business. Taking pictures, giving receiving hugs. you know the drill. When this this Mario brat comes right up to me and punches me! (it was pretty hard I might add, it would have to be if I can feel through the foam and it hurt) And says he'll take me on and I'm like waving my hands insisting that I don't want to fight but then his mom was like that's right you get him son! and I was like crap... well maybe if I just go with it for a few minutes he'll leave. So I did. My mom would have been with me but she had just left to see my brother Daniel who went as King Boo on stage to show off his costume for his entree in the contest they were having. Anyways so I was by myself trying to fend off this Mario kid when ANOTHER Mario comes up and starts attacking me too. Now it would have been fine if they were like, you know... playing... but they were pretty rough. The tail of my costume almost ripped off and some of the seams ripped and I was really mad. That's about the time my lil bro came and actually rescued me. He said "I'm here Bowser and I'ma lick'um!" And so he went around doing that. And seriously... it drove them away... haha. Still made about what they did to my suit cause I was planning on selling it. Jerks. No wonder why Bowser hates Mario... I feel sorry for the poor Koopa.

On my way into the zoo I stepped in dog crap... in my bowser outfit... made me sad ... I just remembered that... I ALWAYS step in dog crap. It NEVER FREAKING FAILS.

There was a cute girl dressed as Santa who kept wanting to see me over and over again. Her grandma kept trying to take her to get candy from the people at the zoo but the girl kept say, " but I wanna see dah yewoah dwagon!" She was my favourite. If I could take her home with me I would.

I entered in the contest as well. I won first place. But they ran out of age 12 and over ribbons so I got 10-11... lol

Bowser made with: crushed velvet, faux leather, faux fur, pillow fluff, foam, hot glue, and a lot of patience.

Thanks to my parents for helping me. I had to throw this together very fast because my mom insisted that I change my plans like 2 weeks before it was supposed to be ready. But they helped me glue and stuff.
